Shakedown Cruise. Bradley's led a group of five of us (Taylor's, Hardy's, Pat Lahon and us) to check out a possible tour route for the upcoming NW Meet. It was supposed to go up back roads to Fairhaven, then down Chuckanut Dr to the resort. However, we missed a couple of turns, did the route backwards and cut it off in Edison, where we had lunch at the Longhorn Saloon. Jackson's even paid us a surprise visit at lunch as they were driving by. Hardy's invited us for a drink at their home on Lake Whatcom on the way back, a very nice ending to the cruise. Enjoyed the meal, the company, the great weather and the driving (of course).
