I'm excited for opening day, but my car is still up at the BC Ranch, finishing a long winter punch list. Is there anyone departing from Triple X in Issaquah that needs a co-pilot/navigator?

Opening Day is approaching. Join us for a picnic lunch in Graham at noon. We are planning three tours, one from the old Triple XXX parking lot in Issaquah led by Lois Buhman, one from Titlow Park in Tacoma led by Gary Davis, and one from Starbucks on Strander near Southcenter led by Mike Sinclair.  They will drive back roads to Graham for a picnic under a covered area (it has been known to rain) at Frontier Park at noon.  Please bring your own lunch, Lois will provide S'mores for dessert.  Contact Lois Buhman at 206-267-8056, Gary Davis at 408-431-4403 or gmdavis@cisco.com, or Mike Sinclair at 206-226-6236 if you have any questions. Due to software limitations attachments re times, locations, maps and routes will be posted here.

The Gary Davis Tour will meet in the parking lot at Titlow Park at 9:30 and leave by 10am, following a scenic route…

Frostbite Tour will be this Friday, April 5th!

Terry Brunner and I will be leading two groups on the Frostbite Tour this coming Friday, April 6. We’ve moved it from Saturday to Friday in the hopes of insuring dry weather.

Terry will lead the northern group starting at the Nooksack Market Center in Deming, WA at 9:30am and travel south on Hwy 9. He proposes two optional meeting points further south:

  1. 10:15am at the Big Rock Grocery Store on Hwy 9 in Mt Vernon.

  2. 11:00am at the Twin Rivers Park north of Arlington.

Looking for something to do during those “Dog days of Summer?”

Summer is half over, but the good news is that there is still time to do something FUN like join us for lunch. If you check out the activity calendar (CALENDAR | LINK) you will see two separate lunch events scheduled over the next two weeks.

Healeys Near Me Gig Harbor

This active group of Cascade members generally get a great turnout (10-20 people) for their regularly scheduled lunches and socialize and talk about Healeys. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is good and it’s an easy excuse to get out in your car. I plan on going and because I take HWY 18 to I-5, I end up only driving about 8 miles on the no longer under construction section of the highway around the Tacoma Dome.

This is a GREAT DRIVE on HWY…
