Day Trips

Dee and I were glad we drove down from Lynden for Opening Day. We had a very good turnout as we met the groups from Issaquah led by Bruce Barrett and from southcenter, led by Mike Sinclair. We had stayed ovenight with Verna Orr and she drove her new Caddy. We left Buckley with 9 Healeys and the Caddy, led by Bruce Barrett, for Frontier Park where we met up with the group from Titlow Park led by Bruce Anderson. We ended up with 13 Healeys and 18 people. The weather was sunny and warm, there was a large car show at the park, and we had fun visting with each other. Sadly, this was our first Opening Day without Lois Buhman, who always organized this event a led a tour to it, and Harry Orr who was an avid participant.

Good morning all. We are one week away from the Tribute drive for James and the weather looks promising. The Aston-Martin club expects 12+ members to attend, and I will try to get the Healey group to about 10 cars. We will conclude our drive by hoisting a toast to James at Watts Brewery (15510 Redmond - Woodinville Rd NE, Woodinville, WA 98072) Feel free to forward this to other friends of James.
