JIM SLOSTAD

One member who has not been mentioned yet is Jim Slostad. In the early 2000's Jim was a truly larger than life Cascade Club member. I first met him at a meet, I don't remember which one. I introduced myself as a member from Canada from the AHOABC. For that meet, Jim took the time out to explain what was happening, why it was happening and how it happened. It took the time to make me feel welcome. In talking to other members at the meet they explained that that was the way he was. His passing in 2009 was a great shock to not only meet but the Cascade Club in general. We need more people like Jim.

You always felt that Jim had your back. It was commonl.y thought that he traveled woth a "whole" Healey in parts.

Quite a Lady!

I can't recall when I first met Lois but I do recall her bubbly personality, her car " Tweety" and her infectious laughter. She was a constant at every meet we ever went to for many years. She will be very sorely missed.

Remembering Those who have passed

While Lois is the most recent, this group was created thinking there may be thoughts to share about others who have passed in recent months, Harry Orr, Phil Daniels and others.
