A group is coming up from Oregon and can meet up with those from Washington and British Columbia at 10:30 in Castle Rock (loction TBD). They will drive to the Johnston Ridge Observatory for a BYO picnic lunch, see: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/giffordpinchot/recarea/?recid=31562. Enjoy views of the mountain, learn all about the eruption in 1980, and hopefully enjoy some fall color along the way. Bring your America the Beautiful Pass.
